This is the Villager. They spawn in random villages all around the game and can be traded with. They don't attack, you but if you hit them they won't like you and will stop trading with you. Also, if enough villagers are in a village, they will spawn an iron golum which will attack you if you hit it or a villager.
This is the Bat. They drop nothing when killed and spawn in dark areas. During the day they will hang on the top of caves or under trees as if sleeping. If you get close, they will wake up and fly away.
This is the Cow. They are one of the main sources of food in the game as when killed, they drop beef and leather. The leather can be used as armor and you can cook the beef into steak. You can also breed them to make more. If you trap two of them, you will always have an endless supply as long as you keep at least two alive at all times.
This is the Pig. This is the second main source of food in this game as when killed it will drop Porkchops. Pigs can also breed so you can make more and have a farm of them like with the cows. Just as long as you keep two of them alive at all times.
This is the Chicken. It is the 3rd and final main source of food in the game. As well, you can breed them to make more as long as you have two of them. When killed they drop chicken and feathers. The feathers can be used to make arrows to fire out of your bow.
